This is Mark from Woven Wheat Whispers mentioned before. We actually have sections for both traditional and nautical song.
In the traditional section we have traditional artists and albums by Andrew McKay, Bob Webb, Hearts of Oak, Mike Bosworth, Pig's Ear, Bully Wee, Gwilym Davies, Ian Hill, Jancis Harvey, John MacRae, Lynn Craig, Magpiety, Marrowbones, Peter Massey, Saga, Puzzlejug, Sticks, Susie Fox.
This month we're adding further traditional music by the likes of The Moonrakers and Andrew King.
Traditional music is often these days made on albums which blend both traditional songs and self-written ones so it's difficult to be too purist about it. However we're known for supporting traditional music - we have a feature on Mike Bosworth's album of traditional Cornish songs on our front page for example.
Traditional music is the heart of what we want to do and we encourage artists working on traditional songs and tunes to get in touch.
