Thread Name: Lyr Add: The Bells of St Mary's (Furber/Adams)
Subject: Lyr Add: THE BELLS OF ST MARY'S (Furber/Adams)
There are two problems with the version given above. (1) The chorus and verses aren't labeled as such (though they are labeled in the DT, which was apparently copied from this thread), and (2) there is a typo in verse 1 line 1: It should be "eventide" not "even time."

From Indiana University Sheet Music Collections:

THE BELLS OF ST. MARY'S
Words, Douglas Furber. Music, A. Emmett Adams.
New York: Ascherberg, Hopwood & Crew, Ltd. © 1917.

1. The bells of Saint Mary's at sweet eventide
Shall call me, beloved, to come to your side;
And out in the valley, in sound of the sea,
I know you'll be waiting, yes, waiting for me.

CHORUS: The bells of Saint Mary's, ah! hear they are calling
The young loves, the true loves, who come from the sea;
And so, my beloved, when red leaves are falling,
The love-bells shall ring out, ring out for you and me.

2. At the porch of St. Mary's I'll wait there for/with you
In my/your soft wedding dress with its ribbons of blue.
In the church of St. Mary's, sweet voices shall sing.
For you and me, dearest, the wedding bells ring.
