Also, you could use the folk process to make up a police cadence by changing some of the words of an already existing cadence. See for example the Sound Off {Duckworth chant} in this thread which was posted by Joe O.,{Offer?} on 29 Sep 2004:

Hib-hub, hib-hub, hib-hub, hib-hub

The heads are up
The chests are out
The arms are swinging
In cadence count
Sound off (sound off)
Sound off (sound off)
Cadence count
1-2-3-4 (1-2, 3-4)
etc.

Also, it seems to me that this fire fighting cadence could easily be changed to a police cadence:

WHEN I GET TO HEAVEN
When I get to heaven St. Peter's he will say "How'd you make your living" "How'd you earn your pay" I'll hold my axe up higher and higher Cause I make my living as a Fire Fighter!
