Can't let this one drop...John, if you are out there, whatever choice you make, will be right for you. Addiction runs in my family, have LOTS of alcoholics, and stopped drinking 8 years ago myself. It's a nasty, difficult drug to deal with. And the real bitch is not only is it legal, but portrayed in such a fashion that it appears that people are happy when drunk...forgetting that alcohol is a depressant.
