sorry, rock chick, but there are some that can't be described any other way. The only rules are about when and to whom references are made. Mostly, I would not say it to someone's face.

You are correct that " We all do daft things at times..." which means anyone can make bad decisions. But some are flatly incapable of comprehending WHY their actions are bad, even when it is explained to them. This is NOT always their fault, and we must have tolerance for those with injuries, learning disabilities and genetic flaws.

What is hard to deal with...and what is represented by most of the semi-funny stories above....are those who are regularly do 'stupid' things, and seem to not learn from them...or who don't seem to care.

It is no sin to be ignorant about an issue, but it IS a problem when someone 'seems' to be intelligent enough to cope, and not motivated to improve.

It is a complex thing, this being human, and some are just better at coping than others.....thus we have threads about people doing stupid things.
