Any pale colour is easy to cover in one good coat with the paint available these days. I know the prevailing contractors' wisdom is to do it all white, but they've been doing so for so many years that I suspect a little colour might make a house stand out from all the other dreary commercial white new homes. I know when we were house hunting I got very cynical about all that white, and also, white paint hides nothing: every little flaw and every nail dent that wasn't perfectly filled shows up - not that Bobert's left any of those... ;-)
