My mother said I ate eggs until I was 1½ yrs. old, then quit them suddenly. I'll eat eggs...if they can be disguised so I can't identify them AS eggs.(I have friends who tease me by offering to cook me an egg & onion omelette)

And while that diner scene...(thanks, Wesley!)...was great, thatwaitress was a bit beyond the one I met...*grin*, as she didn't even OFFER him the individual items. But it did illustrate the issue a bit. I wasn't even trying for a substitution...all I wanted was to not have one item included.

Anyway, I'm gonna probably go to my grave believing that either 1)the restaurant owner, or 2)the waitress was stupid for not 'reasonably' providing for individual preferences. Surely not 3)me... ☺
