In New York City the Folk Music Society of NY/NY Pinewoods Folk Music Club will hold a concert honoring Daniel Pearl on Friday, October 12 at 8:00. To emphasize Pearl's vision of music as a universal language to respect differences and reach out in global friendship, we have planned "Every Tongue Under the Sun: An Evening of International Folk Songs." The first half will feature Joy Bennett, Jerry Epstein, Alan Friend, Chris Koldewey, and Anne Price. For the second half, everyone is invited to bring a song to share.
