Obviously she does these things to bring attention to herself and to boost book sales, but the question remains:

                     Who buys them?

       Americans. And far too many of them. Americans who hate minorities. Americans who persecute alternative lifestyles. Americans whose brand of Christianity means intolerance of any other belief, even other brands of Christianity. Americans with absolutely no understanding of foreign cultures. Americans with a jingoistic sense of superiority. And they vote. And that just sucks.
