After its failure to make an impact in the heady world of folksong competitions - yesterday I sent an mp3 of the Skegness song to Skegness tourist board. Just got an e-mail, they have decided to give me my own page on the Skegness website - I'll be a bit like The Embassy Ballroom, or The Seal Sanctuary or Butlins Holiday Camp!

PS No its not Whacko - that was a TV series with Jimmy Edwards about a cane wielding brute of a Headmaster. As it was the 1950's, (an age when beating children was considered quite a hoot), it was a comedy. Anyway thanks for your interest in my mispent career.
