I stand in awe of your knowledge John - as always - but you can't get away from the fact that it's f***ed up his system to the point where it needed a system restore!

If "Most of the changes in Office SP3 will have already been installed" then how come it had such a detrimental and immediate effect which has been reversed once unapplied?
