So the water-borne vessel we made as kids was a ship because it had three masts.

It wasn't very big and it sank very shortly after launch, but it had three masts with square sheets except for the mizzenmast, which had a couple old pillow cases. It also had a jib, but that doesn't count because we'd confused "jib" and "head". She was christened "USSHMS Thundermug" and sank on her maiden voyage.

I'm a plank owner, but you'll have to get the plank out of my brothers back porch if you want it.
