An Turkish acquaintance of mine, schooled in Turkey, firmly
middle-class, about forty years old now is firmly convinced
of two things which he learned in school:

1. That the Armenians were the aggressors at beginning of the
   last century.
2. The Australians at Gallipoli were the 'bad guys.'

Yep, it's going to be interesting getting Turkey into the EU...
