A former partner of mine, a reasonably well known entertainment lawyer (Jewish by religion, Turkish by regional origin) once spent nearly a week trying to negotiate a deal for a client of his with an Armenian film producer.   He returned to the office, saying "At last I understand why we tried to exterminate them"!
