Only a completely non-critical audience nourished on the watery pap of pop music could have fallen for such tenth-rate drivel. The cultivated illiteracy of his topical songs are the embarrassing fourth grade schoolboy attempts at free verse."

Can't figure out if this is a great man talking about a great man or a stinkpot talking about a stinkpot.
