I strongly recommend this trio.
So nice to hear vocal harmony as the focal point of what a band do, although it gets harder and harder to arrange harmony, as you add more voices, to avoid a slightly ecclesiastical flavour in the mix. That, however, is fairly in the folk tradition in that most singers of English music learned to sing at church, and you can hear the ecclesiastical flavour in a lot of what the Watersons used to do.
Not that I mean to imply that Cartouche only or even mainly sing traditional English song - I have not heard everything they do, but what I have heard covers a considerable range of sources of inspiration.
The only thing that worries me is whether the expression "Folk Cub" implies that a Lepe of Leopards or TDL will be present at Eltham.
