Did anyone post the food mailing restrictions regarding chocolate?

Is it safe to mail chocolate south of the equator or will our packages melt this time of year? (I never try to mail it during the summer in Texas.)

Will it disappoint a Santee more to receive no chocolate or to receive melted chocolate?
