Parts of the county, perhaps. My region had several good doses of rain, but they were short. I am not accustomed to thinking of a rainy season in San Diego, and one reason is that it often falls, as it does in Camelot, at night. There are many microclimates, tending to get more arid as you go east from the ocean.

We typically get between 10 and 12 inches a year, and the heaviest months are traditional January, February and December. Here's a month by month description.

It is cooler here this morning, with the Santa Ana winds having abated, so we are hopeful that major inroads will be made today.
