I just talked with my son in law. They are still at his parents' (and it is in Trabuco Canyon); they plan to go home tomorrow- because there is a hockey game they want to attend tonight. He said, That sounds silly, I know.

The air quality is still bad but the humidity has shot up dramatically and the winds have died. Their home is still standing as are all the homes in their community (Hidden Meadows in north Escondido).

They are fortunate indeed. For a great many other people, now starts the hard part.
