Agreed Dick & there are no checks & balances built into "51" to prevent a tragic mishandling of those powers. It's a step in the wrong direction without a safety valve & without any restraint. There's reason to believe that this could be used as a way to circumvent what otherwise would need congressional appvoval.

I'm dead against giving that type of power & control over to fools never mind giving it to those that can be trusted. It's giving away the farm for an unjustified feeling of security. So far the government hasn't handled one national emergency crisis with care & intellegance what makes anyone think that giving one man complete control of the whole (espically a idiot) country would make us safer. Do we really need to be that SAFE???????
