He is also one of my favourite entertainers. I agree with GUEST,14th fret. I've heard singer/songwriters criticize Tom as a "Cover Artist". Well so was Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Pete Seeger... Tom adds some of himself to every song he sings and his between song patter is as entertaining as his singing.
I'm happy to perform songs and tunes written by others and am just as happy when someone else does one of mine.
