Thread Name: Religious Songs That Speak To You
Subject: Lyr Add: IN CHRIST THERE IS NO EAST NOR WEST
I haven't posted in a long time. And while I was looking for something else, I found this thread. The religious song that means very much to me happens by chance to be a church song, In Christ There Is No East or West preferably sung to the melody that John Fahey played.

IN CHRIST THERE IS NO EAST NOR WEST
(John Oxenham, 1908)

In Christ there is no East or West, in him no South or North
But one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth.

In him shall true hearts everywhere their high communion find
His service is the golden cord close binding all mankind.

Join hands then brothers of the faith, what e'er your race may be
Who serves my Father as a son is surely kin to me.

In Christ now meet both East and West, in him meet South and North
All Christly souls are one in him throughout the whole wide earth.

Thanks for starting this thread, Azizi
