Oh, yes. Definitely "His Eye is On the Sparrow", Azizi. And the choir version of "Jesus, Lover of my Soul" sounds slow to my ears, too. And they draw out the end notes which wasn't part of our 'tradition'. I have the music in a book, which I could scan for you if you wanted it - one I think Hollowfox sent me once. One of those 'old time religion' collections of great singable religious songs.

Joe F - "Capt. Kidd hymn"? Would that be a hymn with words on the measure of "Captain Kidd"? Maybe, "What Wondrous Love is This" ... which also deserves a mention in this thread.
