Royalties: the sums involved in royalties of specialist things like field recordings are hardly ever going to reach the price of a pint. They'd be lucky to reach the price of a teabag. Frankly, I've got a lot of things to worry about, but the whereabouts of those royalties isn't one of them.What matters is that someone may put us in the way of hearing some remarkable music. For which treat, 18 dollars doesn't seem such a lot to me.It might be a lot if the records sold in millions, but most of this stuff would be very lucky to reach sales in double figures.
