I once (with the band) played a little pub and we were doing quite nicely when in marched an entire parade of pipers and drummers in full glory wailing like the rising of every Scotsman who died for his home, busting eardrums and decorum and being cheered the whole way by band and patrons alike. They took over our set and blew until they couldn't blow any more. No rules. No tight ass attitudes. No flack. No hard feelings. No anal retentive employer. Just pure unadulterated lust for craic. We had such a blast that we almost forgot we still had a set to play!
