I feel lousy, thanks. Tomorrow (and possibly today) I have to deal with people make "substantial" contributions to the Library ("in lieu of flowers" -- the wish of the family of lady the Library is named after, who died last week). Definitely Tuesday; the appointment is made and the donors ask only for a bronze plaque on the "brag wall" -- no press, nothing like that -- and the brag wall was $5,000 or more. We're thinking that it will be in the vicinity of $50,000.

Wednesday I fly to Pittsburgh for a conference (and plan to meet up with Azizi); on Thursday I have to do a presentation at said conference.

Well, at least the medicines (prednisone, Avelox, and codeine prn for cough) seem to be working.

Of course, I don't feel nearly as bad as Amos's hangover is making HIM feel! I just hope that he didn't contract a "social disease" again this year at Getaway. Mom gets SOOOOOOOOOO distressed by that boy!
