If the assembled talent here in the tavern had sung to each other rather than complain about missing The Getaway, you'd have come close to matching what we had going. I've actually had the privilege of hearing a lot of you.

If each of you had picked and posted a favorite song for the tavern, the Getaway attendees could come back to a whole lot of things they wish they'd heard or sung where we were and be envious of YOU. Except, of course, the few with laptops who strangely go missing for a spell that could have learned one of YOUR songs by Sunday or at least sung it off of a sheet they'd claimed they had with them all along. By the following year, you could even do workshops in here!.

SINSULL had the right idea by sending something down to be sung. The Peter Kagan & The Wind" parody spoken and sung by Gordon Bok himself in front of an audience that included its subjects Kendall & Jaqui came off wonderfully. You should've been there, yes, but the fine bunch in here was missed, as well, in the fleeting moments we all took to do so. Your spirits were among us.
