Jean Shepherd did a truly funny TV movie about his "loser of a father" and him attending a Cubs game. His father taunts Lou Gehrig as he approached the plate and Gehrig responds by hitting a homer into the stands exactly where he and his dad were sitting....and the Yanks win!
