I don't know who in Aussie who post those lyrics - certainly no one with local knowledge of the Lachlan. They are from an A L Lloyd record, and look suspiciously like they were via Martyn Wyndham-Read: lovely chap, but his memory for words sometimes produces the "Folk Process" in overdrive.
