Strange laws indeed.
At Sydney University , Australia, in the 1960s, a student brought a class of red wine to the final examination.
He maintained that it was his right under an old by-law of the university based on that of Oxford University.
The authorities found that it proved to be true. They fined him one glass of red wine for failing to wear his sword to the exam.
