Bought a Suzuki J200 (a copy of the blonde Gibson J200 that Elvis used to have) in Paisley, Scotland in 1977. New about 80 quid. I have had it set up a couple of times and a new bridge put on and it plays better than most of the Gibson guitars of that era.
It even survived a fall down a flight of stairs (not in its case - I was holding it at the time - it suffered a small ding on the face and so did I).
It is still playing (very loudly).
