Just got the following news from a friend of mine involved in the project:"The JJ is remaining at Blennerville for another week.May 4th is the now the likely date for entering the water at Fenit. Meanwhile the masts and spars are being erected and the interior fitout is continuing at Blennerville so no time is being lost.
The weather was the problem last week -the insurers would not agree to the move while the winds were above the limit and then the high tide had gone for 2 weeks.
The naming ceremony is on May7th at Fenit -Mary Mc Aleese, our patron is breaking the bottle of champagne."
Mary McAleese is the President of Ireland, BTW.
I'm heading off to Rennes in Brittany on May 6th, but will post the latest news before I head off.
Regards
