One minor correction to Bobby Bob's Stan Kelly version. In verse 3, it's a "harness casK" not cast. A harness cask is a tub lashed to the deck and used to store mainly salted provisions.
I've been singing this version since I first heard Stan sing it in about 1959 at Soho Square. Leon Rosselson introduced him by saying "Stan & I did sums together at Cambridge". Typical Rosselson understatement!
