Back in the early 1960's, in a church camp, I heard a version of "I was born about 10,000 years ago". It was unremarkable except for a verse in which the singer claims to have been with someone (Admiral Byrd on his arctic expedition?) ..."And I swear I saw the smile that broke his face". Anybody know this one?
