I've noticed that a lot of Folk musicians have bad complexions and wondered if there was any medical or scientific correlation to this phenomena?

Since taking up banjo, penny whistle, and mandolin, I seem to be breaking out all over, and am frustrated by it. I thought I was well past this point.

Any suggestions or thoughts?
