Dunno whether people outside of Britain will be able to receive this, but the SKY TV Arts Channel is showing what looks like a significant short film at 17:05 GMT, this coming Thursday 15 November. SKY 267.

The fim is called Harmonica Breakdown and it is described as a "Short dance piece by Jane Dudley, inspired by the poor black sharecroppers of the American West".

Observers of Woody Guthrieania will recall that almost the last thing Guthrie said before the torpedo struck the ship he was sailing in, was something to the effect that everybody ought to see Jane Dudley dance the Harmonica Breakdown.

Interested parties can then stick around for the 17:30 transmission of the first part of Bill Wyman's Blues Odyssey; in my opinion possibly the finest visual documentary on the blues which has ever been made.
