...apart from the downhill bits?

We have a theory of the expanding and contracting universe. Whenever you go uphil the universe expands. It contracts as you descend hence the uphill bits are always far longer than the downhill ones!

Mind you, we also figured out that the sun was cold - If it is so hot how come it goes colder when you are closer to it on top of a hill? Huh?
