As far as football is concerned I recognise two football teams in Sheffield - Sheffield United and Sheffield United Reserves. I actually go to watch both. Not that it is much fun at the moment. I would not use anything as a name that remotely referred to a day of the week between Tuesday and Thursday even obliquely. Sheer blind unthinking prejudice - 60+ years of socialisation I am afraid!!

The other names are good though and I thank you for those. I have settled on the Folk on Friday name in the hopes the BBC claim it as their own!! Then I can whinge again at their lack of folk music on BBC!
