I started my (for want of a more accurate description) singing career at John's sing around club at the Fleur De Lys back in 1973. Having moved away I went back to do a gig in Bedford some 10 or 12 years ago and made inquiries about John then with no success.
I also started a thread < John Carson - where is he now? > back in 2004 with no real luck.
Seem to remember a telephone conversation around then, with him or some one who knew him, suggesting he was well, still performing and had joined/formed a group.
