Jean is one of my true folk heroes, and a concert by her is a chance not to be missed. Animaterra -- I, too, had a chance to be in a Christmas Revels performance with Jean here in D.C. Her singing was as luminously beautiful as ever. She and husband George were in D.C. for a Folklore Society concert earlier this year and that, too, was a treat.
