True, they don't charge you for "taking it back," but for all those that I checked a couple of months ago you do have to pay the shipping to get it to them. Since you don't have a volume/discounted contract with any shipper, it can cost 30% - 50% of the price of your new replacement monitor (which they usually do ship to you for free) to return an old (CRT) monitor for "recycling."
