(well, Spaw, not all of us got the same comics in our little local papers..and *I* goofed...it just hit me, the button eating chickens were not in the strip I was thinking of...they were in another strip...so I guess the trivia question needs to be which one, and who popped buttons.
THEN, in the strip I had in mind, the main character has a bus that runs on grape juice.
