I posted at the tail end of the "Steve" thread, but Leej....I know.

As a kid I got to see a lot of greats. Teams visiting at the Indians, the occasional Cincy game, but we were an American League family. I miss the players who truly played because they loved the game. There are so few today. I wanted to catch like Jim Hegan, play third like Brooks, make the bat crack loudly like The Mick. I posted all this elsewhere.........

There are some great players in the game today, but the big money has changed the game and those who play it. Not many would make my "Modern Era" Fantasy Team.
