I have always been puzzled by the universal tendency to attach a pejorative connotation to the most intimate and valued parts of our anatomy, eg somebody might be referred to as a "total cunt", or a "absolute prick" or a "right tit" . The same person might be perceived as talking " a load of balls"

Why is this ?
