Agreed, entirely. It may be worth noting that at least 3 or 4 such "forwards" that we've received in recent months have been from people who's IT Department Managers at places of business have mass mailed the rumors to "ALL EMPLOYEES" without checking whether the threat was real. (Return addys still on what was forwarded to us.)

If professional(????) people in responsible positions are that gullible, there's little hope for vast numbers of the "unsophisticated."

It does need noting that "faking" an IT Department (or general management) bulletin has been a fairly popular phishing scam recently, but in the specific cases in mind the IT depts confirmed the messages from them were "real."
