Saturday December 1: The Canadian Folk Music Awards Ceremony Saturday, December 1st, 7 pm, at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau QC (includes concert and catered nibblies)

Friday December 7: National CBC Radio Two broadcast of the ceremony December 7th, 8:00 pm (8:30 in Newfoundland ) on Canada Live with Ottawa host, Alan Neal

My understanding is that every other year it will be held at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, and the years in between in another province. At least this year we in Ontario don't have to pay for flights.
