You are right (left) about Barry Weisledder -- I bit my tongue a number of times, especially about the Clarity Act as a fundamental threat to Canadian democracy -- I have a friend in the NDP Quebec inner circle, and even she thinks the whole thing is pretty ridiculous. It is interesting that for a guy who is in the Substitute Teachers Brigade he is so pro-union when the main Teacher's Union totally screwed the Substitute Teachers last year to save their own skins. (I am pro-union most of the time, but that was not their finest hour.)
