Wherever he lands it has to be better than a bunch of his landings in this life. It wasn't so much what he did or how he did it but more that the man was an ATTRACTION or a SPECTACLE unto himself.
You have to say he truly did it his way no matter how screwed up that may have seemed to many. A lot of folks in the general public consider racers in motorsports to be risk takers but they are wrong. Most are highly competitive and risk is a factor they try to mitigate. Evel Knievel on the other hand was completely about risk, a true daredevil. He entertained millions of people for many years and you just knew that no matter what, Evel just plain liked the job.
