Actually, it is the maximum AM, Jeri == 12 full hours before the sun crosses the meridian. But to keep it consistent with the hours passing (1 of the antemeridian, 2, etc.) it should be called OO:OO AM. I s'pose Bill could provide an extensive exegesis on whether the last minute of one day and the first minute of the next are divided by a second, a microsecons, a millisecond, a nano-second, or something smaller.
