Wow...I haven't listened to the archived show yet to see what the venue reaction, but for all those who doubt if this is real or not...IT'S REAL!!! NO JOKE!!! Trust me, I played there once...but never again...cancelled my gig on May 19th. This is part of a booking network where a non-profit, internet run promotions company has set up various rooms for local musicians to build a following, etc. Obviously, there have been some problems with musicians and the promoter was, in her own way, trying to salvage the venue...but as I told her, they're better off buying a stereo and playing the most watered down elevator musak they can find if this is their list of restrictions. There is some good advice here and there, but for the most part, it was a lot of unnecessary spewing. I was a classical musician for 8 years prior to recording my first rock CD, and I left the classical realm for less restrictions than this place has! Sheesh!
